Managing Four Days of Conference Sessions
With almost 1000 pieces of Audio Visual gear, almost 200 breakout sessions over four days, over 900 attendees, and two Chase Creative project managers, the planning for our recent national client did seem a bit daunting at times! But with thorough planning, a heck of a lot of teamwork, and too many emails to count, the Chase Creative team pulled it off with generous accolades and a perfect QC process!
Planning for this convention started months in advance, but the last couple of weeks are always the most hectic. The event was located at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids, and ran with a total of 23 rooms over the course of the week. The Chase Creative team created calendars and spreadsheets to organize each room and each piece of gear, and allowed for several changes for the duration of the event.
The Chase crew in the Grand Rapids warehouse checked off everything on the equipment list, labeled, and prepped the nearly 1000 pieces to go on the truck. And when the week was over, every single piece of gear made it back to the shelf.
