Question 1: What has been your favorite project so far at Chase Creative?

Answer: The AFL-CIO convention has been really fun to help put together. It combines really high production values and a great design. I’ve really gained an appreciation for the folks I work with like Scott Mohler who have such an incredible depth of knowledge.

Question 2: Why did you choose a career in AV?

Answer: My background is in music performance, and so I’ve had a lot of experience dealing with A/V from the thousands of gigs I’ve done over the past 20+ years as a bassist. The progression from music performance to A/V is pretty natural.

Question 3: What advice would you give to someone interested in working in the AV industry?

Answer: The A/V industry is about relationships, like any other service, so my advice is to love helping people. It really doesn’t hurt to get excited by technology. The A/V industry is full of cool gear to nerd out over, so if you love helping people and love cool equipment, it could be a good fit.

*Disclaimer* If you wish to work as a technician, you’ll need a ponytail and a large collection of

black shirts. 😉

Question 4: What do you do for fun, in your time off from work?

Answer: I play darts competitively, I love to cook, and I try to travel every year.

Question 5: What is one thing on your bucket list?

Answer: I want to visit South Korea and Japan.

Question 6: If you won $1 Million, what would you do with it?

Answer: Travel! I’d probably end up with a few more bass guitars too.

Question 7: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Answer: I’d love to learn another language.
